IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Elizabeth Ann
Fawcett
January 29, 1943 – August 20, 2021
Elizabeth Ann Fawcett of Weston, Massachusetts peacefully passed away on August 20, 2021. She was a beloved wife, sister, mother, and grandmother. Elizabeth cherished time with her family and friends and especially enjoyed celebrating holidays when her culinary skills and creative spirit shone brightly to make any occasion more festive. She was known for her caring, giving nature, and creativity. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends who are grateful for their time with her. She was a registered nurse and then later her career took a more creative turn as she embraced her love of cooking and art and started her own cake decorating business of twenty years, designing beautiful wedding and special occasion cakes. Always finding new ways to be creative, she pursued fine arts and became a notable and award-winning watercolor artist, and created elegant and inspiring pieces. She was very appreciative of her art community of friends who encouraged and supported her in many ways. Elizabeth was a very active and involved member of St. Julia's Parish in Weston and was always willing to lend a helping hand. Elizabeth is survived by her husband Ronald, with whom she shared 55 years of marriage, her brother James Sheehan (Susan), daughters Kate Schwartz (Adam) and Sheila Kobaly (Michael), son Dan Fawcett, and grandchildren Zoe, Norah, Ezra, Jack and Owen and her grandpuppy Sammy. Her family is grateful for the help and compassionate care given by Elizabeth's exceptional medical team at Tufts Medical Center as well as the numerous other medical professionals. A celebration of Elizabeth's life will be scheduled at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please consider a memorial contribution in Elizabeth's name to St. Julia's Parish (374 Boston Post Road, Weston MA 02493) or the New England Watercolor Society . Arrangements are under the care of Dee Funeral Home & Cremation Service of Concord.
