Elizabeth (Baggesen) Chisholm, 96, of Concord, NH, formerly of Concord, MA, died Friday May 27, 2016 in Worcester, MA. surrounded by family. She was the beloved wife of 51 years of the late Allan D. Chisholm who died in 1999. The couple were married in 1948. Born in Concord, MA on July 18, 1919 she was the daughter of the late Andrew C. Baggesen and Aagot (Stange) Baggesen. She attended Concord, MA schools, was a 1938 graduate of Concord, MA High School and later of Pierce Secretarial School in Boston. Mrs. Chisholm was employed as a secretary for many years in the Boston area. She was best known for her amazing knitting skills. Who always made sure her family and friends had a good supply of handmade sweaters. She had a great passion for gardening and loved to cook many of her Norwegian dishes. She moved from Concord, MA to Franklin, NH in 1981, then to Manchester, NH and in 1989 became a resident of Concord, NH. Survivors include her daughter Lee Ellen Moore and her husband Steven of Manchester, NH, two sons Paul F. Chisholm and his wife Debbie of Jacksonville, FL and David A. Chisholm and his wife Lisa of Ashby, MA and eight grandchildren. She was the sister of the late A. Frederick Baggesen. Visitation will be held on Tuesday May 31st from 9 to 10 am in the Dee Funeral Home, 27 Bedford Street, Concord, MA followed by a funeral Mass at Holy Family Parish, Monument Square, Concord, MA at 10 am. Interment will follow in the family burial plot in Sleepy Hollow Cemetery, Concord, MA. In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to the charity of one's choice.
