Elizabeth Jane Linehan Broderick, 86, of Concord, died on December 13, 2015. Born in 1929, she was the daughter of the late Katherine Hoey Linehan and Daniel J. Linehan of Glens Falls, NY and the widow of Paul Laird Broderick who died in 1981. She was graduated with Bachelors and Masters Degrees from the College of Saint Rose in Albany, NY and taught English at Voorheesville, South Colonie, and East Greenbush Central Schools. She lectured at the College of Saint Rose and Siena College in Albany, NY. As a young woman she was a reporter for the Glens Falls Post-Star. She served as Executive Director of Family Services, Inc., in Glens Falls, NY from 1986 to 1990. She was a member of Delta Epsilon Sigma, NYSUT, Zonta, and Senior Citizens of Concord, MA. She was a communicant of Holy Spirit Church in East Greenbush, NY and Holy Family Parish in Concord, MA. Jane is survived by three daughters, Therese Broderick of Albany, NY, Dr. Maria Broderick of Concord, MA, and Catherine Broderick and her partner Manhar Chauhan of Waltham, MA, two sons-in-law Grant Phillips of Concord, MA and Frank Robinson of Albany, NY, three grandchildren, Benjamin Laird Broderick Phillips of Seattle, WA, Joshua Sanford Broderick Phillips of Concord, MA, and Elizabeth Verity Robinson of Amman, Jordan, one sister, Mary Linehan of Syracuse, NY, two brothers, Paul Linehan of South Glens Falls, NY and Benjamin Linehan of Webster Groves, MO; as well as twenty-two nieces and nephews, and many grandnieces and nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her brother Daniel Linehan of Trenton, MI. Funeral will be held on Wednesday, December 23rd at 9:30 am from the Dee Funeral Home, 27 Bedford Street, Concord Center, followed by a funeral Mass at 10:30 am in Holy Family Parish, Monument Square, Concord Center. Ample parking is available at the funeral home and on Bedford Street. Interment will be private. Visiting hours are Tuesday, December 22nd from 4 to 7 pm in the Dee Funeral Home.
