Eleticia "Letty" (Jimenez) Gonzalez, 85, of Maynard, died Tuesday, February 12, 2013 at her Maynard home. She was the wife of the late Edward Gonzalez who died in 1998. They were married in Puerto Rico. Born in Guayama, Puerto Rico on April 5, 1927 she was the daughter of the late Epifanio and Hortencia (Cendeno) Jimenez. She came to the United States at the age of twenty-five and settled in Brooklyn, New York. During the 1970's and 80's, Mrs. Gonzalez was employed as a housekeeper at Emerson Hospital in Concord. She retired in 1987. She was a longtime resident of Framingham before moving to Maynard in 1963. She enjoyed cooking and was a longtime member of the Pentecostal Church in Framingham. Survivors include her five children, Raquel Gonzalez of Lawrence, Edith E. Gonzalez of Maynard, Sandra Stonesifer of Stow, Edward Gonzalez Jr. of Maynard and Joann Gonzalez of Worcester, 13 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, her brothers and sisters, Alberto Jimenez and Virginia Martinez, both of Framingham, Martha Pomales and Alfredo Pomales, both of Puerto Rico.
