Elena A. (Libertini) Spera, 88, of Concord, died Friday, October 24, 2014 at Life Care Center of Nashoba Valley, in Littleton. She was the beloved wife for 48 years of the late Benjamin W. Spera.
Born in East Cambridge on August 11, 1926 she was the daughter of the late Rocco and Esther Libertini. She attended Medford public schools and graduated from Medford High School.
For many years, prior to her retirement, Mrs. Spera was employed as a bookkeeper at the Concord Oil Company in Concord.
A resident of Concord since 1953, she was a Communicant of St. Bernard's Church and was a member of the St. Bernard's Sodality.
Survivors include one son, Alan R. Spera and his wife Jackie of Indio, CA, one daughter, Sandra M. Lamplough and her husband John of Chelmsford, 3 grandchildren, Adrienne Trivers and her husband Huy of Haverhill, Nicholas Lamplough and his wife Kristin of Manhattan, NY and Ashley Lamplough of Chelmsford, 1 great-grandson, Tyler Benjamin Trivers of Haverhill, 1 sister, Alice Langone and her husband Mike of Salem, NH, 2 brothers, Albert Libertini of Sacramento, CA and Richard Libertini of Venice, CA and 1 sister-in-law, Melinda Dillon of Los Angeles, CA.
A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, October 30th at 10:30 AM in Holy Family Parish of St. Bernard's Church, Monument Square, Concord Center.
Burial will follow in St. Bernard's Cemetery, Concord.
