Eleanor Regan Franco, of Littleton, MA and Antrim, NH, formerly of Concord, MA, died on Wednesday, September 26, 2018. She was 75. She was the beloved wife of Vincent J. "Jim" Franco, loving mother of David M. Franco and his wife Susan of Holliston, Siobhan Bartkus and her husband Daniel of Westminster, and Kathryn F. Kalogerou and her husband Byron of Rye, NH, the grandmother of James and Lindsey Franco, Elyse and Daniel Bartkus, Alex and Karolina Kalogerou, and sister of Robert Regan and his wife Helene of Plymouth, Rosemary Dooley of Holden and Paul Regan of Reading. Eleanor grew up in Somerville; graduated from Somerville Hospital School of Nursing and worked as an RN at Somerville Hospital, Malden Hospital and Leonard Morse Hospital in Natick. After raising her children she was employed by community health agencies in Framingham and Arlington. She retired in 1999. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a memorial service on Saturday, October 13th at 10 am in the Farrar Chapel of the Dee Funeral Home, 27 Bedford Street, Concord, MA. A celebration of life will follow at the Trinitarian Congregational Church Hall, 54 Walden Street, Concord, MA. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made in her memory to Boston Children's Hospital, 300 Longwood Avenue, Boston, MA 02115.
