Edmund F. Hayes, 96, of Concord died Friday December 10, 2010. Born in Lincoln on August 16, 1914 he was the son of the late John J. and Delia (Kelley) Hayes. He attended Concord schools. Mr. Hayes was a long time custodian at Alcott School in Concord, retiring in the 1970's. He was recently honored to ring the school bell at the dedication of the new Alcott School. He was an avid Notre Dame football fan. He was the beloved father of Betty Ann Danner of North Berwick, Maine and the late Lillian Beals and also leaves 7 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and his brother Thomas Hayes of Concord. He was the brother of the late John, Lawrence, Joseph and Leo Hayes, Eleanor Brazzell and Catherine Boufford. Service: Services will be private.
