Obituary

Duncan Whitman Cate, 63, formerly of Concord and Lincoln, died Monday, April 19, 2010 at Roscommon on the Parkway in West Roxbury. Born in Boston on March 11, 1947, he was the son of the late Philip T. Cate, Jr. and Marjorie L. (Whitman) Cate. He attended private schools in Massachusetts. During the Vietnam War, he served as a Private First Class in the U. S. Army. He was a disabled American Veteran. Survivors include his sister, Anne L. Cate of Santa Fe, New Mexico. He was also the brother of the late George Elder of Lincoln. Private services will be held in Lincoln Cemetery, Lincoln. In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to Disabled American Veterans, National Service Office, Room 1575B, JFK Building, Boston, MA 02203.
