Donna Jean Bent, of Keene, NH, formerly of Concord, MA, died suddenly in her home on February 14, 2022. She was 67.
She was born in Boston on March 20, 1954 as the daughter of the late John J. Bent, Jr. and Mary A. (Condon) Bent. After graduating from Concord-Carlisle High School, she continued her studies at Fitchburg State University, earning an undergraduate degree in education. Shortly after completing college, Donna worked as a Teacher for a daycare center in Concord, and for Bullock's Nursing Service in Concord. After moving to Keene, she was the Unit Coordinator for the ICU at Cheshire Medical Center, prior to retiring.
A devout catholic, she was a parishioner at St. Peter's Church in North Walpole, NH, where she was active with the sodality and enjoyed assisting at numerous church functions. A lifelong animal lover, she also volunteered for her local veterinarian's office.
Donna enjoyed spending her spare time gardening and growing fresh vegetables in the community garden at Stone Arch in Keene. She was an expert at crocheting, and regularly attended musicals and shows at the Colonial Theatre of Keene.
She will be forever loved and missed by her sister, Sally Warner and her husband Francis of Concord, MA, her brother, Thomas Bent of Leominster, MA, one nephew, Nicholas Milburn, his wife Erica, and their two sons John and Connor, all of Topsham, VT, an uncle, Jack Condon of Carver, MA, as well as many cousins and friends. She was the sister of the late Sharon Milburn.
Family and friends are invited to gather for Donna's Funeral Mass on Monday, February 28th at 10 am in Holy Family Parish, Monument Square, Concord, MA.
