Donald R. Menefee Donald Robert Menefee, age 67, of Westford, died on Sunday, January 15th after a long illness. He was the beloved husband of 28 years of Barbara (Coleman) Menefee. Born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, he was the son of the late Robert W. and Barbara (McGowan) Menefee. He graduated from Springfield High School in Springfield, Penn. and later attended University of Miami in Florida and Pennsylvania State University. He was a graduate of Charles Morris Price School of Advertising and Journalism in Philadelphia. He served in the U.S. Army as a Sergeant during the Vietnam Era. Mr. Menefee had a long and distinguished career in Journalism, Advertising, Public Relations and Marketing in the entertainment and technology industries. A former Concord resident, he has resided in Westford for the past twenty-five years. He was a member of the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association, American Society of Media Photographers, and was a former board member of ARC for Human Services in Concord. In addition to his wife Barbara, he is survived by his devoted daughter Elizabeth Menefee of Westford, a brother Jack Menefee of Wyndmoor, PA, his aunt and uncle Mr. and Mrs. James McGowan of Baltimore, MD, and his brother-in-law Dennis Coleman of Littleton. He is also survived by 16 nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grandnephews including Robert Menefee of Collegeville, PA and many, many dear friends. Visiting hours will be held on Saturday, January 21st from 12 Noon until 2 pm in the Dee Funeral Home, 27 Bedford Street, Concord Center followed by a memorial service at the funeral Home at 2 PM.
