Dennis U. McHugh, 57, formerly of Stow, died Sunday May 3, 2015 in Boston. He was the beloved son of Robert L. McHugh of Maynard and the late Patricia (Pistenmaa) McHugh of Gloucester. Born in Concord on May 24, 1957 he grew up in Stow, attended Stow public schools and later attended Nashoba Regional High School in Bolton. During the mid 1970's he served in the infantry in the United States Army. For several years he worked as a carpenter in the construction industry. He was the brother of Lauri P. McHugh, Darren P. McHugh, Wendy M. Madden, John F.K. McHugh, Liberty E. Pilsch and the late Robert L. (Tiger) McHugh Jr. and Keith P. McHugh. He was also the uncle of the late Jessica Patricia McHugh and is survived by several nieces , nephews, uncles, aunts and cousins. Funeral will be held Friday May 8th from the Dee Funeral Home, 27 Bedford St., CONCORD CENTER at 8:30 AM followed by a funeral Mass in St. Isidore's Church, 429 Great Rd., Stow at 10 am. Interment with military honors will follow in the family burial plot in Brookside Cemetery, Stow. Visiting hours at the Dee Funeral Home will be held on Thursday May 7th from 4 to 8 pm.
