Dell Glover, of Concord, MA, passed away on September 14, 2026 at the age of 91. Dell was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather, leaving behind a legacy of love and creativity that will be cherished by many.

He was born on March 24, 1935, in Matoy, Oklahoma as the beloved son of the late Fred and Sister Jewel Glover.

Dell shared a remarkable 71 years of marriage with his wife, Norma Jean (Petty) Glover, whom he married on July 30, 1955. Together, they built a beautiful life filled with shared dreams and accomplishments.

Dell’s academic journey led him to Southwestern State College in Oklahoma, where he earned a degree in Mathematics, with a minor in Physics. His career began with a sense of adventure as he worked with the 56th Fighter Squadron (F-104 planes), contributing to groundbreaking achievements such as reaching Mach 1. During this time, Dell had the privilege of working alongside the legendary test pilot, Chuck Yeager. His career flourished at renowned companies including GE, DEC and Ricoh Corp, which allowed him to travel the world.

A true Artist at heart, Dell expressed his creativity through numerous mediums. He was a master of wood, metal and stone, crafting sculptures that captured the essence of the human form in abstract beauty.

Above all, Dell was a quiet, intellectual family man.

In addition to his wife, Norma, he is survived by three children: Garnet, Tracy and Stuart. His legacy continues through his grandchildren: Sean, Tiana, Leon and Savannah, who each carry forward a piece of his spirit and wisdom.
