Dean Alan Werthman, 54, of Shirley, formerly of Needham died Thursday September 9, 2010 in Shirley. He was the husband of Cassandra Jellis Werthman. Born in Gloversville, New York on January 23, 1956, he was the son of the late Stanley and Eileen (Shapiro) Werthman. He was the step-father of Ashley Matheson of Shirley and father of the late Caryn Rose Werthman, brother of Joel Werthman and his wife Jittra of Natick, and Charles Werthman and his wife Virginia of Waterford, CT, and uncle of Jill Werthman and her friend John of Waterford, CT and Stephanie (Werthman) Bayiokos and her husband Vassilos of Jersey City, NJ. He was also the beloved grandson of the late Rose Shapiro.
