Dawson A Rutter III, the beloved son of Dawson and Debra Rutter of Sudbury passed away Monday, Nov 6 in New Orleans LA. His family and friends are devastated by his death.
As a young boy DA was an accomplished artist studying at the Emerson Umbrella in Concord. He attended the Fenn School in Concord and had many friends among the students and faculty. Upon graduation he received the Fenn School Gold Medal for his artistic accomplishments and a first place award for artistic excellence from the BOSTON Globe. DA was also an accomplished woodworker, skier and golfer and an avid reader. He completed his high school education at St Marks and Lincoln Sudbury and went on to college at Loyola University in New Orleans where he studied economics and was in the business school in preparation for joining the family business Commonwealth Worldwide Executive Transportation. Dawson was a member of the Economics Club, American Marketing Association and founded the Stock Market Club.
His laughter and positive personality lit up our lives immeasurably. He loved his parents his friends and his many pets. He left us way too soon and it is incomprehensible that we have to continue on without him. We are heartbroken beyond comprehension.
A Funeral Service was held in the Trinitarian Congregational Church, 54 Walden Street, Concord Center on November 12th and a Memorial Service was held at Loyola University, New Orleans on Nov. 15th.
In lieu of an additional memorial service, November 25, 2017 becomes Dawson Family Day. Dawson 's spirit will inspire us to spend the day reminiscing about Dawson and creating new memories.
