David J. Kneeland, III, age 57, of Maynard, formerly of Sudbury, passed away on August 1, 2021, following a brief illness. He was the cherished son of Lillian (O'Connor) Kneeland of Maynard, and has been reunited in heaven with his late father, David J. Kneeland, Jr., who died in 2015. David was born in Winthrop on May 25, 1964. He earned an associate's degree from MassBay Community College and was a longtime employee at Sudbury Pines Extended Care. David treasured close relationships with his family, and embraced every moment spent with them. He was strong in his catholic faith and was an enthusiastic collector of movies and music. All who knew David will fondly remember his gentle presence and kindness. In addition to his mother, David will be forever missed by his beloved brother, Thomas Kneeland, Sr. and his wife Theresa (Arena) Kneeland of Sudbury, his niece and nephew, Lauren and Thomas Kneeland, Jr., both of Sudbury, his aunts and uncles, Alice Kneeland Yarrow, Ann Pietrucci and Robert and Susan Kneeland, as well as his dear cousins. He was the nephew of the late Clifford Yarrow and Richard Pietrucci. Family and friends are invited to gather for visiting hours on Tuesday, August 10th from 4 to 6 pm in Dee Funeral Home, 27 Bedford Street, Concord Center. David's funeral will be held from the Dee Funeral Home on Wednesday, August 11th at 9:30 am, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 am in Ascension Parish at Our Lady of Fatima Church, 160 Concord Road, Sudbury. Burial will follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery in Sudbury.
