David Dodge Crockett Jr, 46 of North Chelmsford, passed away December 13, 2019 at his home in North Chelmsford, MA.
David was born December 15, 1972 in Port Angels WA, to Mary Jean and David Dodge Crockett. He was a tribal member of the Makah Indian Nation, located in Neah Bay WA. His family name is Parker of the Osette families, and they are a prestigious and mighty Pacific Ocean fishing folk. His father's people came from England, Deadwood, and New England. He counts among his ancestors the writer Henry Wadsworth Longfellow.
Dave spent his life being his own man, making good friends and being nice to animals. He played a twelve-string guitar and could be seen in season 1 of the Hulu series, Castle Rock. He was tough, intelligent and had a good heart.
He leaves behind his parents, Mary Jean Tate and Dave Dodge Crockett. His younger sister Emily Lanigan and his older brother Shawn Crockett; his self-adopted sibling Caitlin Carrigan, his cats and his dog Mayday.
Dave's ashes will be spread on the beach at Osette, on his ancestor's land.
