Danielle Marie Stone passed away Monday evening, March 7, 2022 after nearly 10 years of continuous treatment of pancreatic neuroendocrine metastatic cancer. She was surrounded by her family and friends and died peacefully at home. Danielle is remembered as a sparkle of life with an everlasting optimism. She seemed to effortlessly build deep bonds with nearly everyone she met. Danielle created a family of close friends that she treated as sisters and brothers. She loved her dogs and she shared her therapy dog at the local children's library and a local nursing home. Her deepest passion was building what she imagined the perfect family would be. She was an amazing Mother and Wife. She was active in homemaking, decorating, architectural renovations, celebrating Christmas and Thanksgiving, and spreading joy by hosting elaborately themed parties. Professionally, Danielle worked as an executive assistant at Alkermes. Her commitment to seeing other people succeed earned her the highest respect and the nickname "The Velvet Hammer." Coworkers have cited her passion for everything she did as infectious and inspiring and being grateful for having been friends with such a strong, positive, and beautiful person who set the bar high for living life to the fullest. Danielle and Andy met in 2009 and married in 2014. Besides her loving husband, Danielle leaves behind her son Charlie, in-laws Bob and Lorraine, brothers-in-law John (Erin) and Peter, and her Aunt Elaine. She also leaves behind her special friends who, throughout recent months, helped care for Danielle at home and supported her family with meals and donations. The Stone family would like to thank you all for your help, we love you all. A Celebration of Danielle's Life will be held at a later date.
