Cynthia "Tilly" (Dodge) Theriault, 73, of Concord, died Friday, April 29, 2016 at Miriam Boyd Parlin Hospice in Wayland. She was the beloved wife for 54 years of Charles E. Theriault.
Born in Ridgewood, New Jersey on January 2, 1943 she was the daughter of the late Phillip and Evelyn (Ripley) Dodge. She attended schools in New Jersey and attended Nursing School.
A longtime resident of Concord, Mrs. Theriault worked as a nurse at Emerson Hospital in Concord. Most recently, prior to her retirement, she was a noon aide at the Thoreau School in Concord. She enjoyed cooking and was best known for her homemade buttermilk donuts made during winter snowstorms and her homemade raspberry jam. She was an avid fan of the Boston Red Sox and the New England Patriots.
In addition to her husband, Charles, she is survived by one son, Michael Theriault of Maynard, one daughter, Lee-anne Mahoney and her husband Sean of Lowell, 5 grandchildren, Michael Theriault II, James Theriault, Karlin Theriault, Garitt Theriault and Kyle Mahoney. Also survived by really close friends Joe and Kim Morahan and their children Joseph, Sean and Shannon who were very much like grandchildren to her. She was the sister of the late Phillip Dodge.
Visiting hours Tuesday, May 3rd at the Dee Funeral Home, 27 Bedford Street, Concord Center from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm.
Funeral Service in the Farrar Chapel of the Dee Funeral Home will be held on Wednesday, May 4th at 2 PM.
Burial will follow in St. Bernard's Cemetery, Concord.
