Christian Eric Hedlund, of Carlisle, passed away on Friday, April 21, 2023, following a lengthy illness. He was 56.

Christian was born in Boston on December 7, 1966. After growing up in Canton, he was a graduate of UMass Amherst. He pursued a lifelong passion for music by developing and operating his own businesses, Snow Dog Records and Dedicated, Inc., both based out of Concord.

Christian fully embraced living and raising a family in Carlisle, a community he loved wholeheartedly. This included being active in the town's youth sports program. His essence was that of pure happiness, and he will be remembered as a welcoming, sincere person with a contagious smile, a love of laughter and a wonderful sense of humor. Fatherhood was his greatest pride and accomplishment. His children brought him immense joy, and he was unwavering in his support and participation in their lives.

He was the proud and dedicated father of Jacqueline, Gretchen, Jude and Dagmar Hedlund, all of Carlisle. Christian also leaves behind his former wife and mother of his children, Gloria Winquist of Carlisle, his loving partner, Nicole Collins of Arlington, his beloved parents, Martha Turner-Borek and her husband Robert of Chelmsford and Carl S. Hedlund and his wife Judith of Vero Beach, FL, his devoted brother, Justin Hedlund, his wife Lila, and their daughters Audrey and Victoria of Rumford, RI, along with many dear aunts, uncles, cousins and a host of loyal friends.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Christian's life during visiting hours at Dee Funeral Home, 27 Bedford Street, Concord Center on Thursday, April 27th from 4 to 7 pm. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Irene Parish, 181 East Street, Carlisle, on Friday, April 28th at 10 am. In lieu of flowers, contributions to honor Christian's memory may be made to the Hedlund Family College Fund .
