Charles E. Theriault, age 85, a lifelong Concord resident, died in Concord on May 7, 2025, following a long illness. He was the husband for 54 years of the late Cynthia "Tilly" (Dodge) Theriault, who died in 2016.

Born in Concord on October 21, 1939, Charlie graduated from Concord High School and subsequently served for four years in the Navy. Upon discharge, he began a long career working for the Concord Light Department up until his retirement.

He is survived by two children, Michael Theriault and LeeAnne Mahoney and her husband Sean, five grandsons, Michael, James, Karlin and Garitt Theriault and Kyle Mahoney, his niece, Donna and great-niece Stephanie. Charlie was predeceased by his parents, Charles and Mary Theriault, and three sisters, Mary Pauline Theriault, Yvonne Theriault and Louise Eddy.

Family and friends are invited to gather for a period of visitation on Friday, May 16 from 10 to 11 am in the Dee Funeral Home, 27 Bedford Street, Concord Center. A graveside service with U.S. Navy military honors will immediately follow at St. Bernard's Cemetery, Bedford Street, Concord.

Concord's Town Flag will fly at half-staff on May 16, 2025 in honor of Charlie's military service.
