Cecilia R. (Dubon) Innella, 83, of Bolton, entered eternal rest in the Kingdom of Heaven on June 27, 2022. She died peacefully in her sleep, having been surrounded by the loving embrace of her family. They take comfort knowing she has been joyfully reunited with relatives and friends who have gone before her, and that she is now watching over all those she loved in this life.
Born in Brooklyn, New York on January 23, 1939, she was the proud daughter of the late Bernard and Cecilia (Klein) Dubon. Cecilia was immensely proud of her heritage, and never forgot where she came from. She would say she learned her best qualities, including a hard work ethic, from her dedicated parents.
As a Registered Nurse, and a devoted wife, mother and grandmother, she embodied a selfless and unwavering devotion to others, both in her professional and personal life. She loved taking care of people. Cecilia had a natural ability to make others feel welcome and loved. She especially treasured entertaining as a gracious host, where a full spread of delicious meals with multiple courses were always prepared to perfection.
Cecilia cherished countless travels to Cape Cod, particularly Craigville Beach, along with Naples, Florida. Her catholic faith was a pillar in her life, and she prayed daily to the Blessed Mother. She was a proud American, often dawning a flag pin on her lapel as one of the many symbols of her patriotism. She was a fabulous story-teller, and many have a great Cecilia story to hold in their hearts and minds. She was the ultimate optimist, always focusing on the positive outlook in life, and finding the good in everything and everyone. Cecilia was truly beloved by all who knew her, and will be profoundly missed.
Her life and memory will live on through her loving husband of 62 years, John "Jack" Innella, her five children, John Troy Innella and his wife Vicky of Plaistow, NH, Tracey Pinto of Acton, John Todd Innella and Annette Aird of Northwood, ND, Tara Livolsi and her husband Paul of Maynard and John Ted Innella and his wife Gabriella of Acton, six grandchildren, Lilly Innella, Celia, Joseph and Jennifer Livolsi, Lucy Pinto and Clara Innella, two sisters, Carol O'Hea and her husband Robert and Maureen O'Shea and her husband Edward, all of Greenlawn, NY, one brother, Bernard Dubon and his wife MaryAnn of Malverne, NY, along with several nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews.
