Calvin J. Hayes, 82, of Acton, formerly of Carlisle, died Sunday, May 24, 2015 at Life Care Center in Acton. He was the son of the late Margaret E. (Geaney) Hayes and Calvin G. Hayes. He was the beloved nephew of the Late "Aunt Betty" and "Uncle Charlie" Forsaith and cousin of Elizabeth Saef of Carlisle. Also survived by many cousins and dear friends. Mr. Hayes graduated from Concord High School and served four years in US Navy. He was employed by the Blue Ribbon Dairy and the Town of Concord. He was a lover of nature, electric trains, Boston sports and dancing. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 27th in the Farrar Chapel of the Dee Funeral Home, 27 Bedford Street, CONCORD CENTER at 10 am. A Private burial will be held in St. Mary's Cemetery, Lynn. Concord's town flag will fly at half-staff on Wednesday in recognition of Calvin's service to his country in the U. S. Navy.
