Obituary

Bryan James Moran died unexpectedly on March 20, 2024, at the age of 30.

He was the son of Edward James Moran, III of Woonsocket, Rhode Island and Jane Moran of Framingham, Massachusetts. He leaves behind his brother Justin Moran and his fiancé, Adia Thompson, his aunt Julie Murphy and her husband Vincent Murphy, his grandmother, Diane Moran, his Aunt Robin Friberg and his Aunt Karen Moran, as well as many cousins, including Kaitlyn Murphy and Robert Murphy, both of whom he grew up and enjoyed traveling with.  Bryan is predeceased by his grandparents, John and Marilyn Terry and Edward Moran, II.

Bryan overcame great adversity and put himself through college, where he earned a bachelor's degree in nursing from Jefferson College of Health Science. He was very proud of his work as a Level 1 Trauma nurse both in Virginia and Massachusetts. He enjoyed spending time with his friends, including his best friend Steph McGrattan, traveling, going to the Cape and dancing at clubs.

The Covid Pandemic and trauma he faced working in the Boston Hospital ICUs in 2020 affected his mental health to such a degree that he was not able to recover. He had a strong passion for nurse's rights and mental health awareness, but it was not enough to save his life.

Bryan's family wants him to be remembered for who he was before 2020 when he was full of passion, joy and hope.
