Obituary

Bradford Ross Moran, age 37, died at home from a heart attack on March 21, 2022. He was the cherished son of Vanessa (Patalano) Moran of Concord, and has been reunited in heaven with his beloved father, Thomas Moran, who passed away in April of 2021. He was born in Newton on December 20, 1984. While growing up in Concord, Brad was active in little league baseball, which his father helped coach, and later, joined the high school lacrosse team. After graduating from Concord-Carlisle High School in 2003, he earned an undergraduate degree from Fairfield University, and a Master's in Counseling at Lesley University. He was currently employed by Looking Glass Counseling in Somerville, and was highly admired by his co-workers and clients. He was very committed to helping his clients, and found such joy in discovering new research to share with others. His lifelong passion for learning and travel led him on extensive trips through Europe and Asia, including teaching English in China for two years. An amateur photographer, Brad enjoyed capturing beautiful places and landscapes through the lens of his camera during his travels. Brad also loved reading, podcasts and watching the latest Marvel Movie in the theaters. Brad was a great cook, always crafting new recipes and dishes for his family and fiancé. A lover of music, Brad had an appreciation for many genres and artists, and was happy to share them with others. While working for Bay Cove Human Services in Boston, Brad was fortunate to meet his soul mate, Tess Mulrean. Their love story began soon after he brought Tess home to the Moran's for Thanksgiving in Concord. The couple got engaged while vacationing in Puerto Rico three weeks ago. Brad will be remembered as the kindest soul. Always looking out for others, he embodied steadfast compassion and support in both his professional and personal life. He took special care in nurturing meaningful bonds with each of his family members. Brad loved family get togethers in Concord over his childhood years, and more recently at his sister's house in Acton. He cherished time with his niece and nephews, even sharing his love for Polaroid cameras with them. After losing his father nearly a year ago, he treasured the countless memories made with Tom. In addition to his mother, Vanessa, and his fiancé, Tess, Brad will be forever missed by his brother, Jesse Moran and his wife Caroline of Concord, two sisters, Lindsay Demerjian and her husband Kevin of Acton and Jennifer Moran of Maynard, his adoring niece and nephews, Ella, Bryce, Lucas and Noah, as well as numerous extended family members and many dear friends. An animal lover, he leaves behind the family dog, Heidi, and his beloved cat, Mr. Kitty "Max". Family and friends are invited to gather for visiting hours on Monday, March 28th from 4 to 7 pm in the Dee Funeral Home, 27 Bedford Street, Concord Center. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, March 29th at 10:30 am in Holy Family Parish, Monument Square, Concord Center. Burial will follow at Sleepy Hollow Cemetery in Concord. Brad never forgot about the exceptional care and compassion his family was shown by the Hospice House as his father reached the end of his life. In lieu of flowers, contributions to honor Brad's memory may be made to Care Dimensions Hospice, 75 Sylvan Street, Suite B-102, Danvers, MA 01923. Arrangements are under the care of Dee Funeral Home & Cremation Service of Concord.
