Biruta (Klavins) Stengrevics, 100, of Carlisle, MA, formerly of Greenwich, CT died Sunday, September 11, 2016 at The Atrium in North Chelmsford. She was the beloved wife of the late Gotfrids Stengrevics. Born in Aizpute, Latvia on October 31, 1915 she came to the United States at the age of 34, after living in the Czech Republic and Germany after World War II, and settled in New York. A Carlisle resident since 1999, she enjoyed cooking, entertaining, travel and loved dogs. Survivors include her son, John Stengrevics and his wife Susan of Carlisle, her grandchildren, Alex Stengrevics of Lexington Park, Maryland, Eric Stengrevics of Los Angeles, CA and Krista Stengrevics of Concord. Services will be held at a later date and burial will be in Ferncliffe Cemetery, Hartsdale, New York. Contributions in her memory may be made to Alzheimer's Association, 480 Pleasant Street, Watertown, MA 02472. Arrangements are under the care of the Dee Funeral Home of Concord.
