Betty Dean Gates passed peacefully on December 17, 2020 in Acton. Betty lived for over 25 years in Bedford, MA, after moving there with her son from Florida. Her last years were in the Life Care Center of Acton Nursing Home. Throughout her life, she worked at a wide variety of jobs, earning money as a singer, social editor, photographer, and secretary. She will be missed. Services will be private. Those who would remember her may make donations to The Salvation Army, Attn: Development, 25 Shawmut Road, Canton, MA 02021. Arrangements are under the care of Dee Funeral Home & Cremation Service of Concord.
