Bernard E. Kelley, 76, of Stow, MA. passed away on August 28, 2021 in Concord, MA.
He is survived by his wife, Christine Conner, one son, Tobias Kelley of Acton, two brothers, William Kelley of Easthampton and Tab Kelley and his wife Maureen Kiely of Northampton, one brother-in-law, Michael Lingley and one nephew, Joseph Lingley. He was predeceased by his parents, Robert E. and Katherine (Diskin) Kelley of Concord, his sister Kathy (Kelley) Lingley, and nephew Eddie Lingley.
Bernie graduated from Concord-Carlisle High School in 1963, where he excelled at football and baseball. Later, he attended Wentworth Institute of Technology in Boston.
After serving his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War, he founded and managed AC Sound in Acton.
Bernie's passion was music, especially Rock and Roll. He played in many bands, including Battle Road, The Fabulous Flashbacks and The J.B. Quick Band, where he played guitar and was the lead singer.
Relatives and friends are invited to visiting hours on Friday, September 24th from 4 pm to 7 pm in the Dee Funeral Home, 27 Bedford Street, Concord Center. His funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 25th at 1 pm in the Farrar Chapel of the Dee Funeral Home. Burial with U.S. Army military honors will follow at St. Bernard's Cemetery in Concord.
Concord's Town Flag will fly at half-staff on Saturday, September 25th in recognition of Bernie's military service.
