Beatrice R. Page passed away peacefully on January 30, 2022. A life-long resident of Massachusetts, she attended Miss Mills School and Pittsfield High School. She was a graduate of the Katherine Gibbs School in Boston. Bea worked at Beaver Country Day School in Chestnut Hill as a Secretary to the Head of School.
Bea lived in Lincoln, MA from 1952 to 2013, when she moved to Concord. She was a member of the Lincoln Garden Club, Assistant Leader of the Lincoln 4-H Horse Club, Member and a two-term Chairman of the Middlesex County Horse Advisory Committee. Bea served as a Trustee of Holderness School in New Hampshire. She was a member of the Emerson Hospital Auxiliary for 25 years. Beatrice served the town of Lincoln in a variety of capacities; Historic District Committee, League of Women Voters, Dancing School Committee, Lincoln Players and as an election poll checker. Bea was a volunteer for the Lincoln Old Town Hall Exchange from its beginning in 1963 through 2000, sometimes serving as the Volunteer Coordinator.
Bea enjoyed reading, movies, horseback riding, skiing, Boston Symphony Orchestra, the theater and ballet, dancing to and listening to jazz music, traveling, and, above all, her family.
Beatrice is predeceased by her husbands, John C. Haartz, Jr and Milton S. Page, her brother, Kenneth L. Ritchie. She is survived by her three children and their spouses, including Eric and Denise Haartz, as well as her grand-daughter Deborah Haartz.
There will be no public memorial service, but the family will hold a private celebration of life at a later time.
