Atty. Leo R. Reynolds, 85, of Concord, formerly of Tequesta, FL, and one of the founding partners at Hamilton Brook Smith Reynolds law firm of Concord and Boston died peacefully, surrounded by his loving family on Tuesday, December 20, 2016 at Rivercrest Long Term Care Facility in Concord. He was the devoted husband for 58 years of Evelyn (Odell) Reynolds.
He was born in Somerville on November 20, 1931, the son of the late Patrick and Marguerite (Ahearn) Reynolds. He attended St. Theresa Grammar School and St. Clement High School where he played Basketball.
During the Korean Conflict, he honorably served his country in the United States Army.
A graduate of Boston College Law School, Atty. Reynolds began his career at Raytheon as an Engineer, and later, as a Patent Attorney.
He was an avid golfer, and a longtime member of Lexington Country Club. He also formerly served on the Board of Directors for the Maynard Country Club.
Atty. Reynolds was Past President of the Boston Patent Law Association, a member of the Licensing Executive Society, member of the Middlesex Bar Association, a parishioner at Holy Family Parish in Concord, and a proud Boston sports fan.
In addition to his wife, Evelyn, survivors include his son, Gregory Reynolds and his wife Nevene of Stow, his brother, John Reynolds and his wife Michelle of Fort Pierce, FL, and many nieces and nephews. He was also the brother of the late William, Paul, and Timothy Reynolds.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, December 22nd at 10 am in Holy Family Parish, Monument Square, Concord Center. Burial with military honors will follow at St. Bernard's Cemetery, Concord.
Concord's Town Flag will fly at half-staff on Thursday, December 22nd in recognition of his service to our country in the U.S. Army.
