Annie Landry Jones died peacefully at home in the company of her beloved husband of 59 years Graham E. Jones on September 27, 2019.
Annie Jones was born Anne Fryer Landry on November 1, 1938 as the youngest of six children to Dr. & Mrs. Benedict B. Landry of West Hartford, Connecticut.
She attended the Oxford School, then The Noroton School and Bennett College before marrying Mr. Graham E Jones of Farmington and Avon, Connecticut, on September 17, 1960.
After having two daughters, the young family moved from Manhattan to Greenwich, Connecticut, in 1966, when their son was born.
In 1979 the family moved to the Beacon Hill where, once again, Annie made many wonderful friends, not the least of which were through the Beacon Hill Garden Club, of which she later served as President.
In the mid-90s Annie and Graham moved to Taos, then Santa Fe, NM. Here Annie again made great friends, and she became very involved with the Santa Rape Crisis Center. She, as usual, was athletic and even took up golf, deepening her friendship with Graham.
Then, in 2007, Annie and Graham moved to Lincoln, MA to be closer to their two grandchildren in Concord, and to family and friends on the East Coast.
2008 brought Annie & Graham to Newbury Court in Concord and new friends, where Annie, with her beloved dog Hercules, become involved with volunteer support of Alzheimer's patients
Annie is survived by husband Graham, children Margaret I. Jones, Alden Jones Perkins, and Graham E. Jones, Jr, her grandchildren, David and Jack Perkins, as well as her two sisters, Marie Seymour St. John, and Marsha Landry Hagan.
Family and friends will gather for her funeral Mass on Thursday, October 17th at 12 pm in Duvall Chapel at Newbury Court, 80 Deaconess Road, Concord, MA. Celebrating the Mass will be Rev. William H. Robinson of Holy Family Parish. A reception will immediately follow at Newbury Court.
