Anne E. (McLaughlin) McCue, 85, of Concord, formerly of Lexington, died Friday, August 5, 2016 at Emerson Hospital in Concord. She was the beloved wife for 63 years of Robert W. McCue. They were married in St. Bridget's Church in Lexington in 1953. Born in Arlington on September 28, 1930 she was the daughter of the late Patrick and Bridget (Gilespie) McLaughlin. She attended Lexington public schools and graduated from Lexington High School in 1948. During the 1970's, Mrs. McCue worked at Van's Sporting Goods in Concord. Previously she was a telephone operator for Bell Telephone Company in Lexington. A resident of Concord since 1955, she was an avid reader and loved decorating her home, cooking and being involved in her children's activities. She was much loved and will be forever missed. In addition to her husband, Robert, she is survived by three children, Kathleen A. McCue of Waltham, Mary B. McCue of Billerica and Robert P. McCue of Lynn and many nieces and nephews. She was also the sister of the late Mary Walsh. Funeral will be held on Wednesday, August 10th at 9 am from the Dee Funeral Home, 27 Bedford Street, Concord Center followed by a funeral Mass in Holy Family Parish, Monument Square, Concord at 10 am. Burial will be in St. Bernard's Cemetery, Concord. Visiting hours at the Dee Funeral Home will be held on Tuesday evening, August 9th from 7 to 9 pm.
