Anna G. Vaughan Anna (Grant) Vaughan, 97, formerly of Concord, of Stow, died Monday April 30, 2012 in Concord. She was the wife of the late John P. Vaughan. Born at the family home on Bedford Street in Concord on June 21, 1914 she was the daughter of the late James Grant and Mary (Morgan) Grant. She attended Concord schools. Mrs. Vaughan worked in the cafeteria at Alcott School in Concord and later as a file clerk with Sentry Insurance Co. in Concord. She was a member of the Concord Senior Citizens Club and enjoyed crochet, cooking and doing word search puzzles. Survivors include her daughter Patricia V. Alving and her husband Ronald H. Alving of Stow, a grandson Scott F. Alving and his partner Carlos Paneda and their son Derek J. Alving-Paneda, all of Stow. She was also the grandmother of the late Derek V. Alving and sister of the late John, George, Morgan and Hugh Grant ,Frances Weinburg and Evelyn Mehegan. A funeral service will be held on Thursday May 3rd at 11 am in the Farrar Chapel of the Dee Funeral Home, 27 Bedford Street, Concord Center. Interment will follow in the family burial plot in St. Bernard's Cemetery, Concord. Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday May 2nd from 6 to 8 pm. Donations in her memory may be made to Derek V.
