Ann Crowell Young, 88, died peacefully in Concord, MA, surrounded by her loving family on Sunday, April 19, 2015. She was the wife of the late Malcolm Young. Born in Boston, MA, Ann was the daughter of the late Doris (Berry) Crowell and Donald Crowell. Ann attended the Brimmer and May School in Boston and Smith College.
Ann is survived by her children, Lydia Young and her late husband, Jim Devine, Judy Young de Groot and her husband Greg, and her son, Scott Young and his wife Terre; her grandchildren Katy de Groot Kasle, Travers de Groot, Mac Young and Emma Young; her great grandson Henry Kasle. She also leaves her sister, Barbara Crowell Wheeler, a resident of Concord, MA.
Ann loved gardening, was a wonderful piano player and voracious reader. Her love of history, and interest in protecting Concord's historic resources, lead her to work on the Historic Resources Masterplan for the Concord Historical Commission. Ann's summers were happily spent in West Hyannisport and East Chop, MA with family and friends.

A graveside service will take place at Sleepy Hollow Cemetery, 34 Bedford Street, Concord, MA on Monday, May 11, 2015 at 10:30 AM.
