Ann Sbardella, 94, formerly of Cranston, Rhode Island, died on April 15, 2020 at Belmont Manor Nursing Facility, in Belmont Massachusetts. She was the wife of the late Pasquale A. Sbardella. Ann was born in Providence, Rhode Island on September 16, 1925 and grew up in Harrisville, R.I. After graduating from Burrillville High School she went on to become a nurse, training at Massachusetts General Hospital where she graduated in 1947. Ann went on to specialize as a nurse in the Operating Room where she spent most of her career at the Miriam Hospital and later the Veterans Administration Hospital in Providence, R.I. She is survived by her sons Steven and David, grandchildren Gregory, Lauren, Tracy, Joshua and Jordan, her sister Mildred and three great grandchildren. Ann was an avid reader, loved to spend time gardening, but her most favorite past time was spending time at the ocean. Services and burial in Rhode Island will be planned at a later date.
