Alice V. "Nan" Sheehan, 102, of Concord died Saturday, April 7, 2012 at her home in Concord. Born in Concord on January 10, 1910 she was the daughter of the late John J. Sheehan, Sr. and Margaret (Toomey) Sheehan. She attended Concord public schools, graduated from Concord High School in 1927 and Fitchburg State College in 1929. For 40 years, prior to her retirement in 1972, Miss Sheehan taught second grade at the Alcott School in Concord. She is survived by her sister, Loretta J. Sheehan of Concord, and two nephews, John Driscoll, Jr. and his wife Eileen of Dumfries, VA and David Driscoll of Hopewell, VA. Cemetery: Burial will be in the family burial plot in St. Bernard's Cemetery, Concord. Visitation: Visiting hours will be held at the Dee Funeral Home on Monday, April 9th from 6 to 8 PM. Service: Funeral will be held on Tuesday, April 10th from the Dee Funeral Home, 27 Bedford Street, Concord Center at 9 AM followed by a funeral Mass in Holy Family Parish, Monument Square, Concord Center at 10 AM.
