IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Alice F.
Lencioni
October 4, 1941 – March 28, 2024
Alice Frances (Anacker) Lencioni, formerly of Concord, passed away in her sleep in the early morning hours of March 28, 2024.
Born on October 4, 1941 in Portage, Wisconsin to Dorothy (Block) and Harold Anacker, Alice spent her childhood on a farm with her sister and two brothers. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Wisconsin–Madison. It was there that she met her husband-to-be, Donald Lencioni. The couple settled in Concord, where they resided for the next 45 years and raised two sons.
Alice loved nature and outdoor activities: taking bike rides through her neighborhood, swimming at White Pond and gardening. Her active engagement with the community included participating in the annual bird count, planting the flowerbed at the end of Plainfield Road and advocating for a new elementary school.
In her later years, she and Don enjoyed traveling, with a particular fondness for Italy. She could strike up a conversation with anyone, never forgot a birthday and loved spending time with her grandchildren.
Alice is survived by her sons, John and Michael; their wives, Jennifer and Anuja; and her grandsons, Adrian, Christopher and Emeric.
Knoll Section of the Cemetery, located at 361 Bedford Street.
