Alice (Kelly) Griffin, 92, of Concord died Thursday May 18, 2017 in Winchester. She was the beloved wife of 52 years of the late Daniel Joseph Griffin who died in 2001. Born in Watertown on November 5, 1924 she was the daughter of the late James L. and Catherine (Brennick) Kelly. She attended St. Patrick's School in Watertown and was a 1942 graduate of St. Patrick's High School She became a resident of Concord in 1954. For many years she worked in the Religious Education Office at the former St. Bernard's Parish in Concord. She is survived by her daughter Linda Fenn of San Mateo, CA, her sons Daniel Joseph Griffin III and his wife Sophia of Melrose and Freeman (Richard) Griffin of Boston and was the mother of the late Nancy Fournier, and is survived by Nancy's husband Stephen Fournier of Waltham. She is also survived by her grandchildren Jessica and Rebecca Fournier, both of Worcester and Daniel J. Griffin IV and Mary C. Griffin, both of Melrose. She was the sister of the late Rita Kelly, Irene Hammond, Lillian O'Neil, Nancy Carroll, Patricia Smith, James Kelly, Helen McDonald and Mildred Oliver and is survived by many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Tuesday May 23rd from 8:30 to 9:45 am at the Dee Funeral Home, 27 Bedford Street, Concord Center, followed by a funeral Mass in Holy Family Parish, Monument Square, Concord Center at 10 am. Interment will follow in the family burial plot in St. Bernard's Cemetery, Concord.
