Agnes Pierce passed away on January 7, 2021 at the age of 100. She died peacefully at her home in Lunenburg surrounded by her family.
Agnes was born on February 2, 1920 in Lowell Massachusetts to James and Blanche (Ayotte) McNamara. She was predeceased by her brothers, Donald and James McNamara. Agnes was married for 51 years to Raymond Pierce who passed away in 1996. She worked as a lab technician at Foster Grant for 20 years. Agnes spent 20 years living in Barefoot Bay, Florida before returning to Massachusetts in 2009.
Agnes is survived by her children, Patricia Lovell and her late husband Robert Lovell of Lunenburg, Raymond Pierce and his wife Peggy Pierce of Summerville, Florida and Diane Romani and her husband Steve Romani of Summerville, Florida, her grandchildren, Amanda Dufour and her husband Brad Dufour, Bobby Lovell and his wife Lisa Lovell, Michael Pierce, Dan Pierce and Tammy Pierce. As well as many great grandchildren.
Agnes had an infectious smile and loved being social and making friends everywhere she went. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She loved to travel. She enjoyed going to the beach and the casino.
Due to the pandemic and current conditions, there will be no services at this time. In the springtime her family and close friends will be having a celebration for her life.
